Abstract | Fourteen herbaceous energy crops were selected to investigate their recalcitrance to cellulosic enzyme. The results about enzymatic hydrolysis of sorghum and Pennisetum hybrids indicated that both hemicellulose and lignin content had a negative influence on enzymatic digestibility (ED), especially for the latter. |
