Phase Equilibria of CO2 Hydrate in CaCl2-MgCl2 Aqueous Solutions

摘要Phase equilibrium data for CO2 hydrate in binary CaCl2-MgCl2 aqueous solutions are determined at four different concentrations (2 wt % CaCl2-8 wt % MgCl2, 8 wt % CaCl2-2 wt % MgCl2, 5 wt % CaCl2-15 wt % MgCl2, and 15 wt % CaCl2-5 wt % MgCl2) in the temperature range of (257.14 to 276.89) K and at pressures ranging from (0.94 to 3.38) MPa. An isochoric pressure-search method is applied in all of the measurements. A comparison is made between our experimental results with some selected experimental data from the literature for CO2 hydrate in pure water. All of the solutions are observed to have an inhibiting effect on the CO2 hydrate formation.
